To give some background, the Pilot-RC Matrix Jet has an outstanding success in the 1.8m, 2.2m, and 2.8m - everybody loves them!

Pilots main goal for the 2.4m was to match the performance of the 2.8m model. They built and tested several prototypes throughout the year and finally landed on a spot-on design with the final prototype. No compromise performance that is truly comparable to the 2.8m Matrix.

Pilot recommend a 160 turbine (normal sport flying) but fitting a 142 will provide great sport performance and provide the opportunity to avoid the Cat 3 Large Model paperwork!
