This airplane draws inspiration from one of the most influential FAI pattern designs of the golden era, widely associated with Hanno Prettner, 1975 World Champion. Rather than a direct reproduction, it is a modern interpretation refined for today's pilots, while preserving the clean lines and precision-focused philosophy that defined classic pattern flying. Built for those who understand that true precision comes from pilot skill, not automation.

• Fully symmetrical airfoil tail surfaces (horizontal and vertical) deliver superior tracking and precise aerodynamic response compared to flat-plate designs.
• 2-piece plug-in wings and 2-piece plug-in horizontal stabilizers allow easy transport and storage without compromising structural integrity.
• Traditional built-up balsa and balsa-ply structure with carbon fiber reinforcement in critical load areas ensures low wing loading and high torsional stiffness.
• Professionally applied heat-shrink covering enhances orientation and in-flight visibility.
• Landing gear options: Standard versions (SEA428 / SEA428G) include a CNC aluminum mount and durable piano wire gear. Retract versions (SEA428Gear / SEA428GGear) come factory-fitted with a JP 3-piece electric retract set (main + nose) for superior ground handling and scale appearance — piano wire gear is not included with these versions.
• PU rubber wheels with lightweight plastic hubs for smooth operation on various surfaces.
• Supplied with all necessary hardware for both glow and electric configurations.
• Optimized for .61–.75 glow engines for authentic throttle response, while fully supporting 60E electric setups with convenient battery access and flexible 6S configuration.
• Optional tuned pipe (Pipe65.75) available to maximize glow engine efficiency and output.
• Removable cabin top for quick access to electronics, painted fiberglass cowl, and high-quality pre-finished components throughout.
