This Futura 1.9m has been owned by Steve (Firebrand) for about 9 years.
Flies on rails and very forgiving.
The model was extensively refurbished/upgraded in late 2023 including new over spec ER-150 electric retracts, turbine & electronics.
Large mains wheels where fitted with the ER-150 retracts to make grass strip operation a breeze.
Then in mid 2024 after only a handful of flights a LiPo fire took out all the new electronics and damaged the fuse sidewalls in the nose area. Suffice to say it could have been much worse!
The damage was repaired using carbon fibre & resin and repainted in white as per close up photos. Super strong and only a very marginal increase in weight as a result of the repair. While not perfect (cosmetically), it turned out pretty well.
The intention was retain and fly this model again, but I (Steve) have decided to replace it with a new Pilot RC Matrix 2.2m demo model.
So the Futura is looking for a new home and will suit someone who wants a quality sport jet for a relatively modest investment (about 20% of a comparable new ARF)

- New composite Tomahawk tank
- New JP ER150 retract/brake controller.
